This is my place to post observations, opinions and the occasional anecdote. Any interesting information that doesn't warrant a full article also gets dropped here. As such, this area makes pretty good search engine bait.
There's a new radio station in the area whose play list consists of music from the 1980s. I had forgotten that decade turned out some fun pop music. Most of it was not so good, but some of it is still fun...in a MST3K kind of way, at least.

2001-06-26T01:59:44-0500 - evil evil gameBeing excited about the forthcoming Diablo II Expansion, I started playing Diablo II again. That game is dangerous. You really need to set an alarm clock or something to let you know when you've played long enough. I think I played for almost 6 hours straight. "Just one more level, then I'll quit for tonight." That's what you tell yourself over and over until you collapse. I suppose it could be worse. At least I didn't have to pay for those six hours of playtime.
2001-06-24T12:54:32-0500 - angelina joliciousBeing a fan of Ms. Jolie and a fascinated observer of the Lara Croft phenomenon, I saw the Tomb Raider movie yesterday. I freely admit that I thoroughly enjoyed it. As I expected, it was quite silly and good for many laughs. Alas, I fear that most of those laughs were not intended by the film's makers.
