Names Services v1.1 ================================================== copyright 1999 Brian Sulcer About Names Services -------------------- Names Services allows you to add new phone, email and fax services to the Names app. Phone services allow you to add to the popup list in the phone number editor. For example, you could add a new "Parents'" service that will display a "P" after the phone number. Email services allow you to add to the popup list in the email address editor. For example, you could add a new "HyprMynd" service that will append "@hyprmynd.com" to every address with that service. Pager services allow you to add to the popup list in the pager number editor. For example, you could add a new "Bellsouth" service that will change the label for that pager number in the All Info view of the Names app. Using Names Services -------------------- Names Services installs a new entry into the Prefs roll. Open Prefs and then tap Names Services. Then select the type of service you want from the picker. To add a new service, enter a name for the service (this will appear in the picker). For a phone service, enter the single-character abbreviation that will appear after the number in the All Info view of Names. For email services, enter the string to be appended to the address. Once all neccessary data is filled in, tap the Add button to add the new service. To remove a service, tap the Remove button and select the service you wish to remove. The Remove picker will not appear if there are no services to remove. Contacting HyprMynd ------------------- Please send all comments, questions and bug reports to bsulcer@hyprmynd.com.
